Words for Wednesday

Once again, this weekly meme is up at Elephant Child's blog:

This week's prompts are:

  1. Feverish
  2. Pencil
  3. Fabricated
  4. Typewriter
  5. Mix
  6. Sensible

 And /or

  1. Penalty
  2. Caution
  3. Senility
  4. Lie
  5. Patched
  6. Trees

Once when virtually no one had computers, a pencil and typewriter were how writers put their ideas down on paper.  There was a time when I didn't even have typewriter, though, so I mostly wrote stuff on paper. there may have a time once when I was lying in bed feverish, I found myself fabricating one of many stories this way. I'm not sure how sensible my mix of words was, but it was a start.  Most writing begins that way, to be patched up later to a more sensible mix, using caution not to tell a lie.

I love it. And still write stories in my head, and on paper. And have my typewriter still.
Thank you so much for joining us again.

LOL! I was reading through some other people's responses to the prompt, but yours is so logical! =)

I like this :)
I remember lying in bed with notebook and pencil, writing stories to tell my toddlers at bedtime.

Loved it Jamie. I often long for a time when pencil was all I had.
