I can't seem to remember ever wearing one of these costumes, even though they were around for so long. I guess my mom was good at making costumes for me. Just why did we need the names and a picture of the characters on the smock?I cannot imagine this idea being used with characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants or Angry Birds, so it's probably good that these went out many years ago.

No Halloween traditions here. And indeed very little costume wearing on a national basis. Perhaps we missed out.
