F is for Flowers

#AtoZChallenge 2026 letter F

A book-cover scavenger hunt is this year's theme. Please see this post for general rules on how to participate.

Today's item is:

Flowers

My choice:

A bit of an obvious choice, I thought, but one that's easy to find. But it has so much to choose from! I had so many in my Goodreads list that I had read and many I want to read! This was one of my more recent reads, so it was fresh in my mind.

Now it's your turn. Provide a link in the comments (from Amazon, Goodreads or other sites) to a book with the item of the day. Just naming the book in the comments is also acceptable. Remember, you cannot use the same one in my post. Otherwise, just comment on the post. Good Luck!

  1. The first thing that comes to mind is "The Language of Flowers" Not only does it have a picture of flowers on the cover, it has the word. :)

  2. Flowers. Does a living flower count? John Wyndham The Day of the Triffids, Penguin edidion. https://www.penguinsciencefiction.org/14.html: The link is just old, not insecure.

  4. The Dragon Queen by Tuppence Van De Vaarst has flowers, and a dragon!, on the cover. It is the third book of the fantasy series.

  5. That's a nice book cover. If I had to name one I'd probably check the gardening section of the bookstore ;-)

  6. I haven't seen this cover before but it's bright and very red. Strangely, I haven't seen that many flower covers lately.

    Have a lovely day.
