A book-cover scavenger hunt is this year's theme. Please see this post for general rules on how to participate. Note: If this link doesn't work, go the March archives to "More on the A to Z Theme this year."
Today's item is:
Dresses
My choice:
Dresses, especially fancy gowns, appear a lot on book covers. This is especially true for historical-fiction novels. It's been more than 10 years since I read this series. However, remembering the covers on each of the books is what made me choose this as the theme of the day, as well as having seen so many covers with fancy dresses. I know I have at least one such book at home that has yet to be read. I have discussed dresses on covers before, in this post from 2024.
Now it's your turn. Provide a link in the comments (from Amazon, Goodreads or other sites) to a book with the item of the day. Just naming the book in the comments is also acceptable. Remember, you cannot use the same one in my post. Otherwise, just comment on the post. Good Luck!

Dresses in books will always make me think of the "Little House" books. Dresses play a big part, and are almost always on the covers, but not as the main thing. I like this. Example is the Happy Golden Years Audiobook because the cover here is the same as on my childhood's hardbacks which I still own.
PS: your link to the general rules is broken. I hope to do this right.
I remember back when Prince Charles and Princess Diana got married, there was a somewhat tongue-in-cheek "pop-up" book on the market about the wedding. And of course on the cover was her fabulous wedding gown.
Charlotte: For Some reason, the link doesn't work on this post, but works on my previous posts. It's dated March 15 (check my archives).
I love Regency Romances, which often feature a beautiful girl in a beautiful dress on the cover… like this one!

Wow! That's some dress on that cover.
Hmmm. I love the Bernie and Chet dog mysteries, and Chet the dog is always on the cover.
I had seen tons of covers with dresses & gowns. I see them and I avoid them. They are usually about princesses or royalty or something I just didn't like. This Selection cover looks better than most I have seen.
Have a lovely day.
P.S., the link for general rule didn't work, you forgot the 'L' at the end of the address - html.
Fixed the link. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I decided to go with something a bit darker with a dress on the cover: Feverborn by Karen Marie Moning

Ronel visiting from Ronel the Mythmaker
Yes, that works. Thanks
I remember that book. I didn't read it. I was in an English class, and a boy was reading it. In a kind of way of "don't judge me for liking this". As if I would ever book-shame anyone. I hope he's having a fabulous life.
Pretty red dress on the cover: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/36695169-dragon-mage-chronicles
That is some ballroom gown. For my suggestion - "Le Jazz Hot - Stella Hart Romantic Mysteries #5" by Lucy Blue (and I think one of the best stories of the series) - has her in a jazz dress. https://falstaffbooks.myshopify.com/products/le-jazz-hot-print-edition
