A book-cover scavenger hunt is this year's theme. Please see this post for general rules on how to participate.
Today's item is:
X (on the cover in some form):
My choice:
I shouldn't have to remind everyone how tricky the letter X is 😀 Everyone finds a way around it during A to Z, and this was the best solution I could come up with. Before this came out, I wondered how the author was going to work around this ever-pesky letter. It's just so sad she didn't live to complete the alphabet, not getting to Z.
Now it's your turn. Provide a link in the comments (from Amazon, Goodreads or other sites) to a book with the item of the day. Just naming the book in the comments is also acceptable. Remember, you cannot use the same one in my post. Otherwise, just comment on the post. Good Luck!

How about an X-Man book?
Your question made a long-forgotten book surface in my memory. Ellery Queen: The Tragedy of X. Another whodunnit that was so much else that I read it to the end - now totally forgotten.
The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo - I've seen the book everywhere but I didn't read it.
Have a lovely day.

Great job finding a book cover featuring X. I would probably have looked for a medical textbook on X-rays.
With X, I just keep reposting. Possibly a cop-out, but it works.
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides was pretty interesting.
I found two swords crossed in the from of an X. Truth Cursed: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/216784259-truth-cursed
The Perfect Affair by Angela Henry has an ex on the cover
Good choice.
