I enjoyed this, and you remind me how I miss mix tapes.
I like what you have done with your post today. Some people do not like dealing with, as you said, trying to avoid posting political stuff on social media platforms such as Facebook.
From my point of view, discussing political issues is not a crime, but I have found that many people get pissed off and enraged when they don’t agree with a dissenting opinion.
I'd be down with the gnomes!! And I LOVE a good mixed tape, 80s-style.
I like the gnomes (great idea--they should do that) and the Golden Girls.
I do recall Freshen up gum.
We called "Freshen Up" "Cum Gum." Hey, what can I say? We were kids. Unfortunately, at 67, I fear my maturity hasn't improved.

Halloween isn't celebrated much in our area of town. We have to go elsewhere to see all the fun decorations people put up in October. The store are all carrying some fun decorations.
