This is not the first time I've posted knockoff costumes of popular characters. Click here and here for more. I don't seem to see these in stores, not that I have been looking, but still. Here are even more:
Notice that the Video Game Guy costumes only contain the hat, mustache, and suspenders. I wonder why no shirts? The shirt shown on the models nearly matches the hat. Yet, it would probably be hard to match the shirt exactly. At least the Leisure Suit Villain contains the whole tuxedo, but apparently no mask.
The Inside Out knockoffs don't even begin to resemble the real characters. And some of the generic Bob's Burgers costumes don't even come close to the real ones.
There is a "Bossy Salem Sister" and a "Goofy Salem Sister" (above). I now wonder what the third sister is called.

Interesting costumes. Have you decided what you are going as?
Also known as: "How to get around copyright laws."
I remember the days when your Halloween costume was made from whatever you could find around the house.
I wonder if any of these knock off costume companies have been sued for copyright infringement. I suppose that's why it's as close and not close as they are.
Ha - some companies obviously don't want to pay licensing. I love the titles - video game guy cracked me up.
