The two occur on the same day this year. The last time that happened was in 2020, during the pandemic. I began to remember these memes that came up then:
Many people did not seem to know at that time that "coronavirus" already exists as a term. "Corona" is also Spanish and Italian for "crown," which appears on the Corona beer labels.

This time I won't make the mistake I made last time. We decided to order Mexican food. Went to pick it up, and the line... The line was insane. Social distancing and masks. The line to the restaurant went all the way through this parking lot. Yeah, that was a bad move.
I didn't think about it, but taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo did fall on the same day. It was fun reading about it.

These were so true. Glad that isn't life anymore. And I had tacos on Taco Tuesday which was also the 5th. Love it!
