The protest was once again held on the sidewalk of the local Safeway. Even though I attended (before going to get groceries at the store), my phone camera was acting a little weird and suddenly shut off as I was trying to videotape the protest. I thus did not get any pictures or videos, but if I had I would have been hesitant to share them in Facebook. But a few friends did share some pictures which I stole and posted below. As you can see, many people turned up in inflatable animal costumes. Many claimed to have gotten them on Amazon, even though the Spirit store is block away from Safeway. As with the June protest, the parking lot at the former Kmart store (where Spirit is being housed) was full of vehicles from the protestors (as well as, presumably, from Spirit customers and employees), the fullest it's been since Kmart closed five years ago.

Looks like a great event
There were some clever protesters.
Oh, what the frog started... I love seeing the blow up costumes. Glad you had a good time.
I think republicans are running scared and are trying to make what our country was founded on to be something bad. That's what is unAmerican, not the peaceful rallies.
Love those inflatables! Best protest costumes I've seen since the Handmaids Tale women starting showing up at women's rights marches a few years ago.
