Book to Movie Challenge

Yes, here I go again. Another reading challenge.  This one, however, is one I missed last year, and decided to try for next year.  It's a Book to movie challenge and you know how often this sort of thing happens.  I'm shooting for the Movie Devotee level since I have more that three books in mind to read and then watch the film.  As with other challenges, I may go over.  I always choose whatever level I think is safe for my comfort zone.

To sign up, visit Doing Dewey Decimal at this link.  Below are the details copied from the blog:

To enter, just click through to the linky at the bottom of this post and link to a post on your blog mentioning the challenge and the challenge level you’re attempting. You can change challenge levels at any time and the challenge levels are the same as last year:
Movie Fan - read 3 books and watch their movies
Movie Devotee - read 6 books and watch their movies
Movie Lover - read 9 books and watch their movies
Movie Aficionado - read 12 books and watch their movies
This year, I’ve decided to make this a little more fun by adding a giveaway at some point during the year (NOT contingent on progress in the challenge), as well as a few read-a-longs (The Maze Runner in September anyone?). Other than that, everything is pretty much the same. Add an e-mail to the linky if you want my quarterly check-in posts e-mailed to you. Otherwise, feel free to put gibberish in that spot since inlinkz won’t let you leave it blank. Happy reading and watching!

Here is what I am reading for this one:

  1. The Devil Wears Prada--Lauren Weisberger
  2. The Perks of Being a Wallflower--Stephen Chbosky
  3. Gone Girl--Gillian Flynn
  4. Divergent--Veronica Roth
  5. The Fault in Our Stars--John Green
  6. Heaven is For Real--Todd Burpo
  7. The Giver--Lois Lowry
  8. The Red Tent--Anita Diamant*
  9. Orange is the New Black--Piper Kerman

Thanks for joining in! I think I might join you for the audiobook challenge, but I still have to narrow down my list since I've got way too many I'm interested in :)
