Two things that came up on my Facebook memories:
I still wonder why no one made a "Royal Flush" joke on this one. |
And today Lennon Cartoons posted this from "The Great Toilet Paper Famine of 2020":
Has it really been three years since the toilet paper hoarding madness? I can still picture the empty shelves at the store at the start of the pandemic lockdown. I never understood why people thought they needed so much toilet paper. I happened to get a 12-pack from Safeway just before the lockdown began, days before store shelves became stripped clear of TP for who knows how long. Thank goodness this hoarding isn't happening again. And I have to wonder if those who hoarded the toilet paper then have used it all by now.
And I'm still carrying around hand sanitizer, which seems to be harder to find now. After three years, this has become a habit, as has wearing masks, though many people I have seen in stores and other public places have been going without them. Is till have to wear them at work, since it's considered a health-care facility, but wonder if that rule will be permanent. I'm getting a little tired of them:)

Yes, we're all luxuriating in abundant TP now, lol! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
