Starting to Feel More Like Summer Now

Hot! Hot! Hot! That is how it has been in my hometown since last Friday. Temperatures in the 90s to 100s. It still feels like one long month blurred together, but at least it now feels like summer, this late in August. Temps had been lower than 80 for most of this season.

On a side note, I just ordered the shirt below from Lane Bryant as the summer sale closes down this week. The message on this shirt has felt very truw the last six months.

Hoping this and two other tanks shirts I ordered for $15 each will feel cool as long as the hot weather persists. Don't know when they are going to arrive, but  It's expected for around another week. But one can never tell about fall weather in California. And the shirts will still be here for next year.

Enjoy your summer. It is my least favourite season and I hope it stays on your side of the world for a looooong time.

Not exactly my favorite season either. It'll be better without so much heat ;)

I was writing a comment and then the page flashed and it was gone - Hmmm..
We have had 90s since mid May. Horrifc temps and high humidity. But then this weekend we had a storm and the high was 77 yesterday. EVERYONE was outside because it felt normal. It was perfection. 77 is fall around here so I am longing for fall and longing for it to last 6 months. I mean if everything else in 2020 is going to change why not that too? :-)
If I'm honest I would like to live where it is 65-75 all the time and then vacation in the 80s and 90s. :-) Can you make that happen Jamie?

I just want it to get blow 90 degrees. Yesterday was terribly hot. No shady areas anywhere. Tables and other things were hot. Only the cats could find cool spaces on the floor and the porch :)
